Math teacher, GI Joe fan, toy collector, comic book reader, Star Wars,Marvel, and MOTU are good too.
I purchased this yesterday from Ollie’s for $25. My intention is to spray paint it. I have looked at numerous articles and there is no consistent advice. Do I need to sand or prime before I paint? Which is the best spray paint?

Wow, Larry Hama knew what he was doing in GI Joe: Special Missions issue 14. I did not understand this reference in 1988.

I finally got a 1983 Hawk figure. He is very nice. I still need his helmet and visor, but I am not disappointed. Hawk will always be my GI Joe commander.

I like these figures, but I am still irritated I never found the issue 6 and 7 comic packs. One day, they will be mine.

The best GI Joe playset. It has 1983 figures. I still need Hawk and Steeler.

The defenders and attackers of Naboo. I need to stand up the battle droids.

A scene from Endor. I need to add some more characters.

A scene from the Hoth base.

Luke Skywalker about to defend himself from
a Wampa.

If you look closely, you can see Luke Skywalker sneaking under the walker.

My dingy Cobra Terror Drome. #gijoe

My two Cobra STUN in good shape with their Motor-Vipers. Ever since 1987 and The Movie, I had always wanted to see my Cobra vehicles have all the same drivers. Morays with enough Lamoreys to make me content. Nightravens with their crews. My Cobra army. Terror Drome in another post.

Dreadnoks and other mercenaries on my shelf in @gijoeclassified.bsky.social.

1985 Cobras (and 1987 Technovipers). Isn’t 1985 the best year for Cobra?
January 7, 2025 at 10:50 PM
The weirdos from 1986, 1987 on a shelf.

A shot of my toy room in progress.

This is my favorite poster and that GI Joe team getting ready on the U.S.S. Flagg for this mission on the Tomhawk. In my mind, Lifeline was there to in case of a medevac. Lifeline is not a pacifist. The figure and Hector Garido art does not permit that. #GIJoe

These might be my favorite two pages in issue 49. I don’t think we saw this complete a team until the Cobra Civil War.
January 7, 2025 at 9:58 PM
This is my favorite issue of this run. I need a Classified Devilfish and Wetsuit. @gijoeclassified.bsky.social.

Risk being a cage fighter seems like movie Flint being into parkour. I will give it a chance, but so far, GI Joe is not doing anything for me. #GIJoe #Comicbook
