I find this kind of petty focus on a pair of boots utterly exhausting. Can we please move on to the real challenges facing our city like housing affordability public safety and opportunity for everyone instead of nitpicking a woman's wardrobe.

Thought-provoking piece. As someone who has built businesses and created jobs, I value legal immigrants who come with drive and respect for our laws. A balanced approach to immigration that prioritizes skilled talent and security would serve America better than extremes on either side.
