Something I consistently forget is that Seline has the Haunted background from the Curse of Strahd supplement. It's an excellent fit though!

Something I consistently regret is the DMP motto "Break the Law to Keep the Peace". The idea was to fit in the fact that D&D players do all sorts of shit in an adventure and this was an easy way to excuse how they weren't constantly being arrested.

On a more serious note, ACAB. Even though some of my favorite characters are part of the DMP, they are part of the structure of power. This does change over time (spoilers lol), but I wanted to address this early on.

Still though, I just love the name and it's origin. And it just fits so well within the wild west theme of the setting 😁

I get to go over so many fun Concepts in this episode! The Dead Man's Promise is another early element that I was very proud of. Originally it was just meant to ensure my players had something in common in being members, but it becomes so much more as the story continues!

Ahhh the Undertaker 🥰 the point of origin for the inspiration of this whole setting. Heavily inspired by the figure of the undertaker from the song "The Shadow of the Undertaker" by The Sons of Perdition. (Thanks again, Zeb!)

At 3m 00s, we get the introduction to the current gods. Probably my favorite (besides the Undertaker, obviously) is the Dragon. A fusion of the old gods Tiamat and Bahamut, they joined to save the world from the God War, on the condition that Tiamat will one day destroy it herself.

Something I bring up every time talking about the God War is how that was actually the setting of my very first D&D campaign I ran. So technically all of my 5e games take place in the same universe! There's even repeat characters that show up later and they're just cameos for me 😅

Our players are power couple @megzie.bsky.social and @rainbowpunk10.bsky.social playing Seline Argent and Talia Grey, respectively. Seline is a mysterious Grave Cleric, known as the Wanderer in White, and Talia is a half-werewolf Gunslinger known simply as The Reaper.
