The sounds of the cars on the roller coaster, clack clack clack, as it creeps upwards, then swooshes down, with another surge of screaming. The scent of BBQ mixing sickly with the sugar of candy floss and the doughy smell of beavertails and churros.

mixed in with the sounds of games being played, the thanks of balls, darts and bb guns trying to hit their targets; and the groans of defeat or cheers of victory from the challengers.
