Celebrating the rapid approach of spring. Last night marked the halfway point between the Cross-Quarter and the Spring Equinox. The Daffodils and Lenten Roses are blooming in my yard.

I looked out my back door this morning, and saw a large flock of robins flying through the trees. All of a sudden, they were in my backyard and all over my birdbath drinking water. There were dozens of them! It was pretty amazing...

Just before sunrise every morning, I feed the creatures that live in my backyard- squirrels, songbirds, crows... even the occasional deer or opossum. We had a rare snowfall overnight, so the ground birds were hungry. I think this is the closes I have ever been to them...
