I feel more and more strongly that calling any Republican pol stupid or unbalanced gives them an easy way out. They’re not stupid, they’re f’n liars, and they consider their constituents stupid enough to fall for the scam.

We leave northern Virginia a week before Christmas to drive to New Mexico for the holidays and a family celebration of our 50th anniversary. While we’re gone, the area is hit by its worst snowstorm in years.
