Some mid-century style to enjoy… This 1950s Midwinter Modern Monaco coffee set was designed Jessie Tait. It is so evocative of the period and is in really good condition. I love the sinuous shape of the coffee pot. The perfect way to start your morning. ☕️🌟

A few fragments from our recent trip to Japan. I lived there for three years long ago so it was a really nostalgic trip. Love the Japanese culture and aesthetic - not to mention the fantastic food… already planning my next visit

How do you feel about pieces with flaws? While I’m always thrilled to find a pristine perfect item, I’ve come to appreciate survivors that show their history too. Careful repairs show how much a piece has been loved - and sustainability and affordability are important issues for me too.

Victorian ladies carried small bouquets called nosegays, posies, or tussie mussies - symbols of elegance, romance, and status. Each flower held meaning and could convey silent messages. 🌹💖 This gilded posy holder would be perfect for an antique-loving bride. #VictorianElegance #PosyHolders

I’ve been a bit obsessed by hand-painted Victorian cranberry glass lately. So far, the best guess for the insect on the vanity box is a weevil - which seems like a strange choice of insect to paint, but still charming. #Victorianglass #insectlovers #handpaintedglass #antiquesforsale #antiquesnz

Looking forward to connecting with other antique lovers. It’s a thrill to find pieces like this that evoke a time when people bought quality and treated it with care. This leather-cased vanity set is full of its original sterling silver implements made in Birmingham during WWI. Travelling in style!
