In fairness I think Linus has been clear that he doesn't feel LLMs should be used for anything serious and this was just him exploring the capabilities of them to produce something outside of his wheelhouse

Now they just need to reach quality parity with Lenovo (i.e. don't release laptops that fry their own motherboards) and I might consider buying from them

"Rules-based order"? The order than made sweetheart deals with top Nazi brass, unleashed a lawless CIA on the world, participated in multiple unprovoked wars and interventions, and waged economic warfare on the third world?

Dems would prefer to continue on the sanctions-based path to attempt to choke Venezuela's nationalized resource industries back into private hands where they can pull their normal extractive tricks, but they'll take a kidnapping too (though they'll be sure to also release statements to the contrary)
