Update, we might flood tomorrow. If the high water mark reaches the prediction it will be as high as it was in 22 when we flooded.

I used to do it to myself when I was still working. Whether I really did my best work might be questioned but no doubt I was at my most productive in the hours before a project was due.

I'm paying attention. I watch for the small places I can make a difference, but there are few and most only affect local issues.

The river east of us is a tributary of the cowlitz and we are only a few miles upstream from the confluence. I haven't looked but we have seen flooding once in our 8 years here so it could happen.

Stopping between strikes to access the damage makes it a premeditated second strike. In this instance it's a war crime because of multiple international laws against doing just that.
