Philosemitism *is* antisemitism

Oh i read “coming soon”. Thanks

I’d love to read this. It seems counter-intuitive to me to reject that say birdsong lacks tonal and rhythmic structure. It’s not my field but I’m interested (Greeks registered the semblance - hence nomos meaning both law/costume and melody/song)

Thanks. I haven’t yet, I will today. Great picture choice, didn’t know the artist.

They sustained their economy on mining tho and sought for precious minerals which highly motivated they’re expansive imperialism. It sounds fairly familiar.

Good point. I guess I’ll buy

Indeed. Who’s the artist btw?

Or he intends to be. I keep remembering how tyrant Peisistratus would lend money to citizens himself…

We wish you were. We’re rather witnessing the reactionary dismantling of known institutional framework. And power over funds is crucial. The fact that Trump wanted to hand sign Covid coupons testimonies his desire to personally identify himself with the common resources. The new leader *is* treasury

Often repeating the word “powerful” before “AI” doesn’t make AI more “general”. It does suggest other things though…

Journals that published Richard Lynn's racist 'research' articles should retract them
Richard Lynn's work has been repeatedly condemned for using flawed methodology and deceptively collated data to support racism. It's past time to retract the studies.

Jesus… “He calculated the national IQ of Angola, a nation of 35 million people, from tests performed on 19 individuals, about whom almost the only thing known is that they did not have malaria.”

In Ancient Greek democracies magistrates were elected by lottery.

The idea of hoping in order to act is pretty much absent in the greek world (unless you conflate sheer expectation and hope). One can be incited to act despite hoping nothing.
November 20, 2024 at 8:11 PM
Absolutely not. I never understood why some think hope is prerquisite for action. In fact, on can hope and do nothing. The trigger for agency lies somewhere else.
