Today, I've been sober for 35 years. I'm grateful everyday for this accomplishment. I would have missed out on so much. I wouldn't be here if I hadn't stopped drinking. It's easy now and I enjoy the array of NA beers. Cheers!

It's Trans Awareness Week. Each year between Nov 13-19, people and organizations participate to increase understanding issues facing the community, leading up to Trans Day of Rememberance Nov 20th, an annual observance honoring the trans lives lost in acts of anti-trans violence during the year.

I wish I could wrap my arms around anyone who thinks it won't get better. I want to tell them it can and it does. It doesn't always play out how we imagine or without a deviation in decisions but unexpected leaps of faith can bring on a life beyond your wildest imagination.
