Nice! So much better than my usual “2 handfuls of boxed Costco salad.”

Thank you- appreciate the encouragement!

I love curry fried rice! But agreed- adding both would be too much.

Aw shucks. You’re very kind- thank you!

I made this over the weekend but didn’t seem it “pretty” enough to post about lol. See if your local Costco has frozen thin-sliced chuck. Usually used for hot pot but makes it super easy to prepare for this dish as well.

I thought about wiping it but was too hungry lol. “Not wasting anything!”

Blue crab is awesome! I remember in college visiting a friend’s family in Maryland and they immediately put me to work picking out shells for crab cakes. Old Bay for life!

Looks delicious, but why is the recipe for 12 oz of spaghetti or bucatini? Don’t they usually come in 16 oz packages? Not the first time I’ve seen NYT do that. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hot take: We should require time, place, manner permits for operating drones. Penalty for non-permitted operation would be immediate shotgunning of drones and tazing of operators. This isn’t fully baked. There may be unintended consequences.

Man, your food always looks amazing. 👏👏👏

Lmao same. If I may suggest, get a subscription service like GamePass on Xbox. It may give you more opportunities to practice, or as in my case it’ll let you feel less guilty about not finishing the games.

I’m in a profession that demands demands not jumping to conclusions, but…is there any f-ing way this happens without some nefarious human intervention?

lol can’t be more sorry than me. There was a time I would’ve polished off that entire plate and asked “so what are you guys eating?”
January 11, 2025 at 7:21 PM
Holy hell that looks so delicious. I can’t have salmon any more so that plate looks especially good.

Thanks! I’m going to try 140 before rest next time and work my way down to 135. I read modern US sold pork is probably fine to go to lower temps than in the past but still freaks me out lol.
January 9, 2025 at 6:32 PM
Wow that looks ridiculously delicious and on-point. Even got the 5 (6?) minute egg. 👏👏👏
January 9, 2025 at 6:17 PM
Looks great! My current fave is ricotta and egg yolk for that 🤩 when you cut into it.
January 9, 2025 at 6:08 PM
Wow looks great! Do you take them to a certain temp? I made a pork roast the other night and thought it was overdone at 145 before resting.
January 9, 2025 at 6:05 PM
Ha! I’ll add more next time! 🤪
