A character arc is a complete cycle -- not just a character ending up in a new place -- and to me, it's clear that his experiences in Season 2 are part of a larger overarching story that started in Season 1: the story of finding his independence.
I politely disagree. Angel did have an arc, he regressed. BUT it's a good idea story wise because that will make Angel's freedom feel so much better in Season 3.

I’m still convinced that Lucifer kept insisting he was fine AND that Charlie didn’t need to apologize, so Charlie kinda had to take his word for it because he would not let up. Which I think was not an unusual occurrence in that family.

Tbh, what if the reason St. Peter isn’t in the ending is because he’s taking a break? The gate’s destroyed and presumably so is the symbolic gate keeping, so maybe he’s finding an identity for himself?

In hindsight I think it’s significant we don’t see HOW Vox was actually going to GO to Heaven. The exorcists would’ve attacked them while they were still sitting ducks. No matter what, he was going to get people killed for his ego.

How????? Even in the beginning when Val asked Vox “how do we even get up there” all he did was give false hope and promises. He never had a plan in the first place!
