From my research so far it seems that sleep disturbance seems to be a very common issue with long covid and that the only thing that helps is the passage of time. :/ The nervous system will eventually regulate itself again. I probably just have to be patient.
I‘m sorry you had to go through this. 😭

My gut health seems to be fine aside from some bloating I get from certain foods but that seems to be normal.
I‘m going to look into Magnesium Glycinate. Didn’t know about this so far. Thank you! ❤️

Yeah that sounds about right that it shocked my system into overdrive.
Thanks for your help. ❤️ This is giving me some useful insights.

I‘m looking into post/long covid stuff currently. Right now I assume that it shocked my nervous system into being overactive and not being able to turn off again. The only solution seems to be being patient and the pass of time. Most people affected seem to experience better sleep after 3 months.

For context, I had Covid at the end of September. Was out for a week but then felt normal again. Then three weeks I ago I suddenly felt like I was sick again. Test was negative. That’s where the problems started from literally out of nowwhere, but it seems like this reinfection was the cause.

Yeah it definitely seems to be something like that for me too. The question is, how to break out or control this? 😵💫

I‘m sorry you are dealing with this . It sounds so hard. You are not alone.❤️
I literally thought of booking a hotel room for a night or two simply to get into a new environment when I was typing this thread so I probably do that.

Damn. That sounds horrible. 😢
I‘m sorry you went through this but it gives me hope that I eventually will be able to sleep more again.
Are you able to sleep normally now or do you still only get 5-6 hours?

Please no sleep hygiene or melatonin tips etc. I tried everything but sleeping pills which I really want to avoid for now. This is my last effort of maybe finding someone who deals with a similar issue and who can share their experience or management tips for this. 😭 3/3

Nothing seems to help. It’s like my brain is constantly on and my body releases adrenalin as soon as I fall asleep to keep me awake. I never was a great sleeper, but this is ridiculous and impacting my ability to work and function in daily life. 2/3

It used to be my most active platform, nowadays barely anyone cares/sees when I post something and I only log in once a week. Reach absolutely tanked for everyone after Musk messed it up. I wouldn’t bother.

I had to do this several times and even had to cancel the transfer request and doing a new one once because for some reason it didn’t went through the first time. That way it took even longer. 🙃 Not that it’s a lot of money, but still annoying that artists constantly have to hunt down their money.
