Day 12 @64millionartists.bsky.social #TheJanuaryChallenge we (me plus 3 yr old & 8 yr olds) chose to try mixing cola & water. Result made me think of William Blake quote: "To see a world in a grain of sand, And Heaven in a wild flower, Hold infinity in the palm of your hand And infinity in an hour."

Day 4 of @64millionartists.bsky.social #TheJanuaryChallenge - challenge "Capture Your Day" - has been a lego sort of day. (Captured in very, very, inexpert stop-motion.)

Day 3 @64millionartists.bsky.social ##TheJanuaryChallenge- write a memory poem based on sensory prompts. I struggled initially- many memories jostling for position - so went on a short run (new year resolutions etc...). Experienced a memory I hope to remember, so wrote (v simply & quickly) about it.

Day 2 of @64millionartists.bsky.social #TheJanuaryChallenge was to "Look Up". I found myself captivated for several minutes by the interplay of light and shadow on my ceiling - aided by sunshine and tinsel.

I wondered what my first proper post here would be - sure no-one else wondered! Turns out it's this... Is anyone else doing the @64millionartists.bsky.social January Challenge? It's a yearly tradition that I love. Day 1: choose a word for the year & create it. I chose "variety". Painted with spice.
