Every few years, we sign up for yet another platform just to keep in touch with our friends. Private platforms have locked users in for too long, causing a lack of innovation & competition in social media.

This guys says pretty much everything that needs to be said. I'm thankful that Europe has this kind of clarity on what is happening on the world stage. I only hope the rest of America can figure it out in time.
