Vancouver peeps! Local politics is calling.

I just had this conversation in real-time on my friend's wall, and through I'd post it here in case this is helpful starting place for others.

Thank you! I'll have a look. I appreciate some passion for justice.

Third step:
<does more readings><forms opinions>

Annnnnd it's Annette REILLY with a resounding lead! Lucy MALONEY coming round the bend after her with a solid anti-Ken-Sims stance. Sean ORR gallops anti-SIMSily in third place.
I'm off to sharpen my votes now.
Anyone got more info? Other opinions?

I'm left with THREE candidates to look up and read about
Not an endorsement -- but these are the folks who I know nothing about right now, but I'll consider two of them for my preciousss voteses:
MALONEY, Lucy Party: OneCity
ORR, Sean Party: COPE
REILLY, Annette Party: GREEN

Then, because I'll be voting strategically in these freaking uncertain times, and want to give someone with an actual chance of getting elected my vote, I scrubbed all independents (sorry folks, I'm sure you're awesome).

First step:
Breaking down the alignment of the parties...

Second step:
I snagged the list from
vancouver.ca/your.../cand...
and immediately scrubbed all conservative-leaning candidates.
