Yesterday’s ‘big national strike’ in Brighton = a few far-right flag wavers. Anti-racists hugely outnumbered them, Greens among them. We made it clear that here in Brighton and Hove, we oppose the demonisation of refugees and migrants, and welcome those who choose to make their home here. 💚 ✊ 💚 ✊ 💚

Great to get out in the sunshine with fellow Greens yesterday and chat to residents in Kemptown and Queen’s Park. Couldn’t have picked a better say for it! ☀️

If Labour are serious about climate action, 2025 needs to be the year they fund councils to follow Paris’s lead. Better walking & cycling infra & replacing parking spaces with trees/greenery has cut car dependence hugely & cleaned the air. 🇫🇷 👏 Here, impoverished councils fear parking revenue loss.😕
