Brilliant panel discussion on benefits of health partnerships to the NHS at the #UKAfricaHealthSummit. Examples include increased confidence & skills of UK health workers, learnings on how to improve community-based care and my particular favourite - recognising the importance of ‘civility’ at work.

Listening to how diaspora health workers give up their own time to build stronger health systems in their countries of heritage. Shouldn’t this be harnessed & valued for the mutual benefits it brings to Africa and the UK?

A fantastic variety of projects being showcased at Nigeria sharing & learning event - from addressing health worker wellbeing to improving skills on breast cancer care, & strengthening early diagnosis of children with disabilities. Common thread = building a stronger #healthworkforce for Nigeria
