Yah. Other than the layering up, I like / use gorilla gloves in my garage gym. Prevents the hand freeze, but grippy enough for secure kettlebell/barbell/dumbell/pullup. I'm sure there are fancier solutions, but this one is ubiquitous, cheap, and comes in distinct size / color combinations
