Yeah, as the saying goes—"shit happens". But it's best to be positive.

hopefully

imagine if there was a day 1 software bug that bricked consoles or something, that would be catastrophic

some people will probably tell you that you should've gotten a Switch 2 or a Switch OLED, but the Switch Lite is a neat small system, and it's great for people who want something cheap and compact to have fun, and it works for that.

If you like fast-paced games (or fzero), try Fast RMX. It's digital only, but it is genuinely a gem.

If you like cosy games, you can (obviously, as of how much it's blown up online) get Animal Crossing

And other honorable mentions are Dave the Diver and Stray.

Enjoy your Switch Lite, but...

We'll see, indeed. Yeah, because previously, they've used clips from the reveal trailer (well, except for yesterday and today), but this is way different than what we've seen before. Can't wait to see what that C button ends up being used for, just a few more hours away...

They've done it again today... it was probably intentional. Maybe they realised it was dumb to hide it in the official reveal trailer? (Considering most people keeping up with leaks way before the official reveal had seen the button)

🧵 (4/4) Nintendo Today! - Weird announcement, but that's expected coming from Nintendo. Basically, it's a news and calendar app for Nintendo events and news. Downloaded it right away 😭

🧵 (3/4): Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream - Second game that's gotten a physical reaction out of me...? Again, it feels refreshing to get a new entry after so long, they nailed this Direct.

🧵 (2/4): Rhythm Heaven: Groove - First game that's gotten an actual physical reaction out of me in quite a while... it's been SOO long since Megamix. It feels refreshing to finally get a new game on the series, even though the 2026 release date is less than ideal.

🧵 (1/4): Patapon 1+2 Replay - I'm sure many other people
are also excited about this
announcement, I played
the original games, and
while it is unfortunate that
we aren't getting Patapon 3
or something, it'll probably
be a very enjoyable
(re-)experience of the
games.

...licence to either the game or the name of the game (or other things, just simplifying stuff here), and not because they made the deliberate choice to pull it from the app. Now, since Nintendo is as communicative as a brick wall, we can only guess, but they probably did have a reason.

🧵 (2/3):
...having the games available on the app, unlike Netflix, where they lose money on having to stream and host the video, the cost of having it on the SNES NSO app or not is minimal, since an SNES ROM is not that big of a file anyway. I believe and hope they did this because they lost the...
