As would any of us. It's up to Marathe to make sure they're competent. If your boss gave you a job you weren't qualified for or experienced in & you messed up, that's on your boss, not you. You wouldn't expect everyone to turn on you for doing everything you could to get it right. Just my opinion.

I don't blame Underwood. If Marathe offered you the job, you'd take it just like I would. And I have no doubts he did his very best. A novice should NEVER have been put in the position of overseeing THE most important transfer window. #lufc
