Is there a name for this phenomenon? Where people see something right before their eyes and then claim not to see it? Emperor Where’s No Clothes is the closest I can think of.

Access to nature is indeed one of the great things about living in LA. From pretty much anywhere in the county you can be at a hiking trail in an hour’s drive and hike 12 months of the year (start at daybreak in the summer).

I agree. Duckworth and Hirono actually asked about his competence and knowledge as someone who would oversee DoD. The others wanted to morally stain him for past transgressions. Showing incompetence ruined W Bush and should be the wedge to expose the new administration.

Yes it was bad communication by LAFD but they quickly corrected it. There was also an errant “boil water” sent out that just applied to north of San Vicente but was sent to everyone. They need another line of review.

Will there be pushback from GOP reps in all the Southern states where they are making EVs? An early test to see who has a spine and who will just mark lockstep with Johnson.
