My family's Hispano w/ some Native ancestors. We take a lot of pride in our Mexican heritage. We still call our white neighbors "Americans".
It's indigenous land & should be recognized as such.
Our points are the same, a "go back where you came from" mentality is founded in ignorance.

It's a fine line b/t New Spain & Mexico. It's like saying the 13 colonies aren't American bc they once were under English rule. The points to me:
1-History & land mass of the US is not what most people know. It was predominantly Span/Mex.
2-Everything after the sale was stolen in the Mex/Amer war.

It was under New Spain/Mexican rule until 1800 when it was sold to France. France later sold it to America to fund Napoleon's failing war.
