Two factors here: 1) she is not necessarily tied to rumors of leaving the league at this time, so there is less “panic” surrounding her future, and 2) big voices in the space I suspect are considerate of her having space to adapt to her new normal as a mother and make a decision she has time to make

From what I can tell, the last time the senior USWNT played in the Pacific Northwest was Seattle in 2017, Portland in 2011 or 2012. Turf is a key issue, but not sure that will change soon in either city. Given the permission to play in lower-capacity KC stadium, is turf an absolute dealbreaker?

The NWSL should name the Defender of the Year after her. A brilliant defender in so many ways, on and off the field.
