Multilingualism probably helps to notice the difference easier - language you understand fully (too much even - in this case) vs one you want to communicate in somehow, despite limited vocab. Reading porn mostly in target language helps too 😂 or learning swear words first - often based on sex

I do now, it's the first thing I posted there 😄

It must be the same with every language, it does sound cringe in Polish to me and my friend said the same about her time during student exchange in Balkans - they'd all flirt in Serbian no problem, but in their own languages, no way 😂

Whenever there's some drama, I truly have no idea what's going on

Avoiding anything with too many algorithms - I probably miss out on good stuff too, but at least it limits exposure to the fandom weirdos

All that. But also interesting how in one language these can be easier to notice than in the other... and surprisingly it not being Czech, where Henry is Jindřich I think? Bc of German Heinrich apparently. But can also be simply Hynek - which leads to what Hans said to Henry about calling his son 😁

My coloring skills are so bad, lol

The regress you get for barely drawing for years 🥲

I mean, what was the point, from the storytelling perspective, of showing him uncomfortable bc of the dog? Love analysing these little details, in the 'show, don't tell' kind of stories these are rarely accidental - the way Hans' claustrophobia was shown was great too

It's even in their names!
One of my friends keeps mistakenly using Henry's and Erik's names interchangeably

Why is so: in Polish it's Henryk and Eryk

With her being philologist, she needed to check what's the origin of the two

As for the meaning, it turns out to be 'king of the house' and 'lone king'

Having to try and hold himself together next to his bosses... and yeah. Poor dog. But guess that was the point of the scene - paint him unlikeable even in his pain and add another anti-Henry thing about him.

Yes, I did. Thought I owe him at least that much.

From the very start of the scene he was weird about it - as someone who used to be scared of dogs (thanks to my asshole neighbour) and would jump out of own skin at the unexpected barking, my first thought was 'is he afraid of it?'. Add Erik's mental state at the news/

He is, indeed. I found it interesting how many people are like 'I'd be sorry for him, if not for that dog'. Bc I felt sorry for him regardless? At that point he already functioned in my head as a bad guy - his reaction to Istvan's death reminded me of the human in him, idk? As for the dog/

He's been build as sort of anti-Henry character so far, I would love to see him becoming villain in his own right. Henry's dad warned him, so it feels like they're leaving door open here (I talk so much about Erik lately, my friends must be tired of the guy by now 😅)

My first 7 attempts were late in the evening with my annoyance growing 😂 8th was fresh on the next day and recording for my friends 'to show my ass getting kicked again' - so of course it went smoothly 😂

If there'll be kcd3, I guess so? Why wouldn't they let us choose what to do with him otherwise?

I was a good boi and only murdered all the guards and knocked out civilians 🤭 but I remember my stealth level going up ridiculously fast during that mission - might have been also due to Henry's fox potion I was constantly on
