Welcome! Hoping it's not that, but better to know if it is and get treated (and not die, obviously). It is a rare-ish disease, but certainly not unheard of. Don't take no for an answer when you ask for the test - again, it is a simple blood test.

Not meaning to be nosey-posey, but have you considered a blood test for Addison's Disease? Maybe not it, but speaking from experience the low BG symptoms you've described over the past several months can in many ways parallel Addison's (not eating, slapped awake, etc.).
