So in short:
➡️ The cancer is still under control,
➡️ I’m continuing treatment to prevent a relapse,
➡️ My immune system is still weak but recovering,
➡️ I’m focusing on nutrition, rest, and light activity,
➡️ And my team is pleased with my progress so far.

I asked about returning to work, and it sounds like it might depend on how strong my immune system stays and whether I’m around big crowds, since I’m still at risk for infections.

I’ve also been getting outside more for walks to stay active, even though I’ve been spending a lot of time resting in my room. Overall, the doctors say my response to treatment has been strong, and the plan is to keep doing the IV and spinal chemo for now while watching my scans every few cycles.

Most of my labs look good—liver, kidneys, and platelets are all stable. I’ve lost about 8 pounds recently because my appetite has been low, possibly from the antidepressant or just the stress of treatment. The team encouraged me to eat more high-protein snacks and avoid losing more weight.

Right now, I’m getting IV chemotherapy and lumbar puncture treatments (medicine directly into the spinal fluid) to help keep the lymphoma from coming back in the brain. My blood counts are low but improving, so I’ll be giving myself growth factor shots for 4 days to help boost my immune system.

This round may include many more scans to track progress and many more intrathecal chemo injections. (In the spine).
