As Brandon Ingram went at Pascal Siakam in the waning seconds on Wednesday night, I was reminded of two important NBA lessons: 1. Things can change quickly: 2. Don't let a bad context blind you of what a skilled player can do.
Brandon Ingram’s game winner over Pascal Siakam shows how quickly NBA changes
Thanks to Ingram, the Toronto Raptors — winners of nine in a row — cannot find a way to lose.

Raptors had a 41.7 eFG% tonight, the lowest in a win by any team this season.

"I said, 'That's why I'm here.' That's the cleanest I can say." - Ingram about what he said after shot.

BI did it again, as the Raptors found yet another way to win.

Darko on whether goals change after hot start: "Absolutely not. ... We're serious people. We're not going to just change the target in the middle."
November 27, 2025 at 3:20 AM
Darko says they kept Gradey Dick out as a precaution. He's feeling OK. They'll continue to evaluate.

"Big luxury. That's why he's getting paid what he's getting paid." - Darko on having Ingram
November 27, 2025 at 3:17 AM
Darko said he considered a timeout, but then realized the ball was in BI's hands, and he put his hands in his pockets.

'Topes win! 97-95. Ingram with 26, Barnes with 24 and 10, that's nine in a row.

Raps go 4-0 in Cup group play.
November 27, 2025 at 2:59 AM
Darko let's em play instead of calling a timeout, Ingram breaks tie with middy, Raps up 97-95 with 0.6 left.
November 27, 2025 at 2:58 AM
The Raps are challenging a loose-ball foul up 1 with 3:50 to go, and these rarely can be overturned.
November 27, 2025 at 2:50 AM
I don't love how easily the Raps have been switching tonight. Mathurin is on one, and the Pacers have the lead.
November 27, 2025 at 2:41 AM
Sure, the Raptors went 1 for 9 from 3 in the first quarter. But I'd be more concerned that they've generated just 15 looks in the 2.25 quarters since then.
November 27, 2025 at 2:38 AM
The Pistons lost and Jamal Shead is having a bad night? One more bizarre thing and I'm heading for the bunker.

Raps up 76-70 after 3. A rare off night for the bench aside from WALTER, who started the second half.

Scottie has 18/8/4, and has gone 10-10 from the line. 20 for Ingram, 13 from Walker.

Teams are a combined 13-51 from 3. Related: Raps have just 15 assists.
November 27, 2025 at 2:29 AM
A 7:35 stint for the starters to start the 3rd without a sub. That's got to be the longest of the year. Raps up 9.
November 27, 2025 at 2:20 AM
Currently doing a lot of good things for the Raps.
November 27, 2025 at 2:09 AM
Barnes draws fourth foul on Siakam on offensive glass. That is big, and Pascal is pissed no challenge is coming, saying it was Barnes who fouled him.

Raps lead 50-49 at the half in a rock fight. Scottie has 16/6/3. Jarace Walker has 11.
November 27, 2025 at 1:43 AM
As is often the case, a Raps run starts just because Barnes pushes off a rebound. Ended in a Ja'Kobe 3, and Raps have turned 11-point deficit into a 3-point deficit.

In defence of Andrew Nembhard, I wouldn't want to try to take a charge when Mamu is going for the layup/Busaiko knee combo, either.
November 27, 2025 at 1:30 AM
Jakob Poeltl just got the rarely seen two-bounce rebound. You see a lot of those in our Tuesday night pickup game, not in the NBA.
November 27, 2025 at 1:22 AM
Instead of taking an open 3, Scottie just tried to destroy Jay Huff. Good decision, given the energy of this game. (Missed dunk, got FTs)
November 27, 2025 at 1:18 AM
Pascal just put an old school Spinning Siakam on Agbaji, and Pacers lead up to nine. Ball not moving as well as normal, but some bad decisions about forcing things at rim, too
November 27, 2025 at 1:15 AM
Raps miss just about every jumper they take, trail 25-21 after a quarter. 8 for Scottie, 11 for Walker.
November 27, 2025 at 1:10 AM
Raps playing about 8 feet off McConnell when he's behind arc. He's 0 for 3 from 3.
