Yeah this is ridiculous. That fire has been burning since July 5, the smoke ruining summer in parts of the Olympics and also drifting up to Vancouver Island and metro Vancouver. The people who fight forest fires deserve respect not shakedowns.

The pyrocumulus cloud reminded me of the one from Lake Diabolo in WA in 2023. Highly visible from the flatlands around Mud Bay and Boundary Bay.
