As an elementary school librarian I enjoy reading some of what the kids are reading. I just finished “Blood in the Water” and it was a good read!

Yes, the screens.

And I’ve watched my school reduce screen time for students in recent years. Our youngest students almost never use them. It’s a step. It has to happen at home though.

No, they are not standard. I’ve taught in multiple schools across districts and haven’t seen these once since starting in 2011. Yes I’m looking at one area, but I really don’t think they are very common now.

Don’t discount the picture books. Those are plenty evil in the eyes of this administration too. Anybody who’s read a book. Or maybe even owns a book…
