CoS, Chicago Reader
If you go run errands during the day on the South Side you can bump into J Ivy, Mavis Staples or Kerry James Marshall on accident. Common is headlining an event for the Treasurer’s office. Chance would’ve promoted Star Line. Keke Palmer is here often. Bill Murray goes to Joliet Slammers games.

The Italian and the Mozzarella/Prosciutto (add prosciutto di Parma and aged provolone) at Bari have been household go-to’s for years. When you drive from the hundreds to Grand for a sandwich, it’s a good sandwich. D’Amato’s cookies for dessert.

I hear your whisper and whisper back… How would we pay the people who fix the bikes and move them around? What funds would cover maintenance on the bike system and the tech?

Fun fact, the cans encouraged people to drink straight from the tap. This product drop occurred mere weeks after federal legislators announced a push for funding to replace Chicago’s lead pipes and announced the City as worst in the nation for tap water contamination. Chicagwa, it’s heavy metal.

It’s a story Venues Today would have covered, but won’t as part of Venues Now. If you need the data to write this story, okay, you got it.
