Silksong spoilers pt.4

My review of the game: Silksong is to Hollow Knight what Spelunky 2 is to Spelunky HD. Both sequels are objectively better and more refined and I'm more likely to play them. But they also have more aggravation and baffling developer choices that bring the mood down a bit.

My most despised boss is groal. While I love the game, I hate the level of malice the developers seemed to have for the players, and bosses like groal and final judge really hammer that home. For every boss that's a hit, there's a miss because team cherry hates you.

I have a love hate relationship with the karmelita fight. It's so cool and dynamic but she pulls a lot of bs too. I liked lace 1 but HATED lace 2. Final boss of act 2 is very fun. First sinner is probably one of my favorites too.

Anyway ramble over. I don't really talk about or draw things other than OCs so... yeah.

- they talk it out and everything's better now! Also I don't really like the "Jax is immoral thus bad character" and "Jax is evil but justified thus good character" opinions. Jax is definitely fucked up and not worthy of praise, but has nuance with his assholery, and that makes him interesting.

- the scenes with Jax and Pomni are great because the emotions (whether good or bad) are not just spelled out for the viewer or even the characters themselves, spurring conflict and allowing for their mental states to be addressed in an interesting and dynamic way. Which is WAY better than just -

I'm looking forward to seeing this one finished, it's so good so far
