I loved the Expanse novels. Read them all this/last year. I'm 58. Such brilliant character development. Flawed humans.

That's awesome! My high school class we're doing just that with 4017s on Friday. Tomorrow I get to explain switch bounce to them. 🤘

If you find yourself looking for a new laptop, might I recommend a Framework 13. Designed so that every part is replaceable, and the ports are hot-swappable. Need HDMI? Plug it in. Want to swap for usb C? No problem. Need a new battery? You just need a screwdriver to replace it. I love mine!

"The last wish" is a league above! Phenomenal graphics and deep, meaningful story. And the wolf?! Oh, my goodness! WHAT a character. He needs his own movie. Can't recommend it highly enough. 👍

Agreed! I thought it was delightfully hammy and, having read the book, exactly as expected. Can't wait for the next one! 🤘

4) The Uber driver who drove carefully and considerately through challenging traffic to deliver us safely to the Royal Columbian hospital.
5) The doctor on duty in the Emergency department and the countless nurses, orderlies and staff who all worked to make our visit as pleasant as possible.

1) The 6 random strangers who stopped to check that she and I were ok.
2) The restaurant staff who sat us down and brought us an ice-pack for her badly-injured arm.
3) The person who went and bought her a bottle of water from a local shop.

I bought the ebook specifically because Meta tried to ban it. Read it in 24 hours. Un-put-down-able and utterly terrifying at the same time.
