Essentially you are ignoring all social and economic factors in having children is soo reductive. It’s preposterous to ignore the factors of women here too- the ideas of parental leave, women in the workforce in addition to unpaid labour in the home falling directly onto the laps of women.

The question here is far less complicated than they are making it out to be here. The solution however is the complicated part - one which wasn’t really discussed. Oh what - let’s encourage people to have more kids or kids full stop by explaining how enriching and fulfilling it is.
