A11) The North Country National Scenic Trail! It is nearby, beautiful, and my next National Scenic Trail to cross off the list! #ParkChat

A10) I do think Arches was that place. The first vacation for my (now) wife and I. Now we can stop visiting parks or hiking! #ParkChat

A9) The creek in Great Sand Dunes happened to be flowing when we went in July- that was a nice treat! Unexpected for that time of year too! #ParkChat

A8) Oh wow- a tough question! I would say the fragile alpine environments! So hard to fix when it is trampled on #ParkChat

A7) A lot of different options! I would say a forest with no roads around and no people, running from mosquitoes! Come to mind first 😁 #ParkChat

A6) Sleeping out under the stars in Badlands will be hard to forget- and the night sky program! The star party event in Voyageurs was great too! #ParkChat

A5) At Canyonlands and Black Canyon, seeing how far down it is to the bottom 😅 #ParkChat

A4) Loons! I know I am somewhere up north! Love hearing them at Voyageurs! #ParkChat

A3) All about the quiet! Nothing better than hearing the sounds of nature! #ParkChat

A2) I was very impressed with GSMNP for this- not bad for an Eastern park! 😁 #ParkChat

A1) The vastness is what does it for me- Canyonlands is hard to beat! #ParkChat

Park-chatting from a Wisconsin volleyball game! I’ll be here as much as possible! #ParkChat

A11) Nothing extraordinary, I have always enjoyed the conversations I have on park shuttles. A fleeting moment in time to get a glimpse into someone (you will likely never see again!) life #ParkChat

A10) For what I have personally done, either canoeing in Voyageurs or sledding in RMNP- sand boarding in Great Sand Dunes looks fun and unique too! #ParkChat

A9) I have not! Would love to hear some examples of parks that do! #ParkChat

A8) @mtmagog.bsky.social had a great point about biking, that would be environmentally and economically friendly. I think less cars and more shuttles to help on all three fronts! #ParkChat

Would love to feel safe enough biking around a park- would be fantastic! #ParkChat

A7) Roller coaster?? 😆 #ParkChat
November 13, 2025 at 2:36 AM
A6) Oh boy. Going to need more than 300 characters here. We got pinned between a mom and cub bear in GSMNP because of overcrowding and taking selfies. Not fun! I am not sure what the right answer is- I know for us, camping and getting places early is the best way to combat dealing with it! #ParkChat

Heck yeah! I would love to visit- just have to pick the right month to do so 😁 #ParkChat
November 13, 2025 at 2:30 AM
A5) I would like to visit some with audio tours- the only one I remember is the radio station that had park conditions at Arches 🤣 #ParkChat
November 13, 2025 at 2:27 AM
A4) I really liked Black Canyon for this- it is not as hikeable as other parks, so getting good views of the canyon was fun! Hard to think about least favorite- some of the busier parks are harder to park and get out #ParkChat

A3) Honestly, for me it was Arches. The canyons and the red rock are just beautiful! #ParkChat
