This fades when confronted with the horror of a full evacuation. Trust me.

The 'problem' is that there used to be a point where cars- even small ones- became too physically demanding for most elderly people to drive. Now, they have power everything and no clutch which means people who can't pour a cup of tea without spilling it are out and about.

My mother has opined in the past that I don't 'need' a fast car. When I had to stand the thing on its nose this weekend to avoid someone who knew what they were doing when Queen Victoria died in a Hyundai i10, she has come around to the idea of very large, vented brakes.

I actually re-watched Freddy Got Fingered about a year ago and I’m now convinced it’s a surrealist masterpiece.

I’ve had 42mpg which isn’t bad for a nigh on 300bhp car. Mine *is* very thrashable however and will return mid teens if you do.

It’s possible (but not, I stress, inevitable) that some sustained long running may improve that. My figures (albeit on a 2ltr petrol turbo) climb a fair bit after a decent trip.

It's possible to respect the scene and improve the situation by substituting the unsung Beckenbauer Allround which has terrace vibes but actual honest to God support at the same time.

A friend of my Dad's is now insuring a 60 plate Fiat Panda with them, fully comp for £86 a year which is gently bonkers if I stop and think about it.

As a War Studies Alum, I went to watch a game when I was at KCL. We lost because the Peace Studies team were- and I'm not making this up- vicious bastards.
