Someone was like "how come every decade of the 20th Century has its own distinct vibe and the 21st century is all one mush" and I'm like, they don't, we made that up in retrospect. No one will listen and yet I persevere, tweeting.

I would prefer to float in some sort of suspension tank but this is not feasible, alas. My ideal would be a floating desk where I sit on pool noodles but I don't have a pool, so.

When I say "cannot" I am very serious. At one point I had reason to sit in my husband's office chair for long stretches and managed to destroy the fabric with my constant shifting/need to sit on one or both feet. I have done the same to our faux-leather couch.
