I’m waking up insanely early tomorrow to go birding on my day off and it feels like a rite of passage

A lot of people at work don’t know I grew up on a cattle ranch and they make silly little comments (that I don’t always disagree with) but it’s obvious they have no idea lol

Was telling my boyfriend all the tea about my best friend breakup of 17 years and he says “you really sucked at choosing friends” 💀 at least I’m validated lmfao

My favorite coworker left last week. I saw this endearingly grumpy old man nearly every day for 6 years straight, and now I gotta just go on without him?! 🥺

Saw one of my old mentors this week and reminded me of simpler times.

My managers keep saying “our jobs are safe” and in the same sentence “I will fight tooth and nail to keep you employed” like sir 🙂 sounds like my job is not exactly safe
