Nina has recovered so well after the terrible effects of her having a paralysis tick over Christmas.
Plus now the necessary clipper-furcut the vet insisted on is ok. The long thick fur she had before would be torturous during the heatwave forecasted for today.

A week ago my cat got very sick, I rushed her to an emergency vet far away because local vets were shut for Xmas. She's recovering well but it was scary.
Paralysis tick found a spot in her fur & I missed it for days. The vet clipped her fur short check for more ticks.
She's ok now.

in this hot humid summer weather, this sight is not unusual now - i keep finding this one stretched out in splayed & twisted positions, in her attempt to cool off as much as she can 😍
