The fact that the CEO turned around & started whining that this was a “political opinion” that shouldn’t factor into a review of the game, while claiming ai slop increases productivity when *actual published studies* have proven otherwise, really should tell you all you need to know about this game

Hemlock would be a predominantly MENA mix—Egyptian, Moroccan, Ethopian, Persian, some Kurdish, other Arabic peoples. There might be the tiniest hint of European in there but it’s tiny & easily ignored.
Shay would be Chinese, mostly Han.

Eden’s heritage would be extremely mixed, but the most prominent & traceable lines would be Māori, Indian/Southeast Asian, and Arabic/Persian descent.

Another fave is the version in Van Helsing (2004). This was my first exposure to a version where the Creature was actually eloquent & expressed himself emotionally. Is it book accurate? Hell no, but the whole movie is really a campy loveletter to the og Universal Big Three so it doesn’t matter lol

My personal favorites (now joined by the GDT version) are the Creature and Victor’s portrayals in the series Penny Dreadful. Now including GDT’s, these are the most book-accurate versions imo & both were acted to utter perfection.
