I remember watching it on a sci-fI festival in Oslo back in the 1999. It was hilariously bad, it didn't help that the next movie in the program was The Matrix. The Matrix was just mind blowing at the time, so yeah that didn't help improve my impression of Wing Commander😅

Unless it is logical that the PC was doing something else I just pretend they were there for continuity most of the time even if it makes no sense. Like if the wizard had been there the characters would obviously have done something different from what they actually ended up doing.
