I cracked writing motivation! It took me way too long to write the first 35k words of my next novel, but now the first one is optioned, I needed to get professional about the sequel.

Every time I write 1k words I get to colour in a square and my target is 4k words a week. Works a charm!

The absolute best way to spend a chilly weekend is writing on location. Ideally in a big pub armchair next to a roaring fire, after a bracing walk with a little furry friend.

Book two nearly halfway through. This discipline thing is quite good really.
