Why is Cloud Strife fictional?
I’m not even surprised to see Clerith featured in official promotional videos and banners.
This is why, even as a non-shipper, I tend to believe that Clerith is canon. They’ve never managed to shake off the perception of being the intended romance in FFVII 🤍

I want to talk about this picture. It’s not mine, and I’m not sure whose it is. I actually never noticed before, but Cloud (Aerith in Cloud’s place in this pic) is slightly smiling here. There’s a subtle lip curl going on.
