Yesterday, we had our first EIPE Junior Research Seminar of the academic year 25/26.

Paula Nieto presented the first paper of her phd (supervised by Prof. Contanze Binder and dr. Laura Garcia-Portela), provisionally entitled 'A concept of law for climate change adjudication'

Today, we introduce Dr. Laura García-Portela, Assistant Professor in Environmental Philosophy.

Laura's work sits at the intersection of climate ethics, philosophy of climate law and philosophy of climate science. She is also interested in the ethics of relationships and family ethics.

Nicholas Vrousalis is Associate Professor in Practical Philosophy at the Erasmus School of Philosophy. He works at the intersection of political philosophy and economic ethics, with a side-interest in political economy and its criticism.
