update I am a genius it is called dim mode
November 17, 2025 at 11:32 PM
out of curiosity what is the 'dim'* mode like for you? I definitely experience the glowies on fully dark (ie white on black) mode but with white on grey/dark blue I find it perfectly fine

*can't remember if that's what bsky calls it but I already typed this out & am too lazy to check

legitimately I am very happy that we still have this energy and it's honestly even better now that it is kind of silly to be like 'omg these people who have been in a relationship for 16 years might love each other'

can confirm definitely not normal at all

also if there are local taxes (which is also mostly weird) surely it would make *more* sense to include them in the listed prices since you can't just do a quick +15% gst mental calculation because you can't know the exact tax rate everywhere

also like,,, accusing someone of a 'bad faith identity' is saying 'you are not who you say you are' which is just straight up transphobia/queerphobia regardless of intent for a variety of reasons

I expect bsky to apply their tos fairly in the sense that I think they should/are obligated to apply it fairly

I do not expect bsky to apply their tos fairly in the sense that I do not think they realistically will because *broad gesturing*

I know people have already answered but I think it is relevant to note the difference between expect as in 'I think they should do this' and expect as in 'I think realistically they will do this' and OP is (from my understanding) using it in the latter sense
