Pattern Emporium Entice me dress. I sewed this awhile back, tried it on and then threw it in my WIPs box unhemmed. This happens a lot for me - I make something, try it on, hate it, and file away. But then I look at it again and Lo and behold, it ain’t that bad!#sewover70 #patternemporiumkate

Amazon Canada will not get one cent of my Canadian money. I am cancelling my Audible account as well. I can get my audible books from Canadian libraries including books banned in the States

Old, worn and stained in places, this 1920s quilt went under the “knife” aka rotary cutter to create a new life for an old work of art, nothing lasts forever. Although I was loathe to cut it up, now I can see it more often as it isn’t just folded up, stored away in the crawl space.

I want off IG and hoping to find a creative sewing community here interested in upcycling, thrifting and slow fashion. For me 2025 is a year of zero fast fashion purchases, only “me mades”
