very old (but still gold) piece from 2021 that I did for my Design History final assignment! One that I referenced from Bilquis Evely and Mat Lopes' Wonder Woman #750 pinup

Besides. (Now) I think it's super cool that I can master so many different shading/rendering/finishing styles. Range ✨️👌

I find it useless to 'force' a single art style onto a myriad of projects/pieces that would otherwise benefit from something more tailored to each one's needs. Especially if I know I *CAN* tailor my art to it. Thus, I can't, in good conscience, stick with only 'one' art style.

I've ultimately come to accept that it's impossible for me to stick with 'one' art style. Maybe it's the design major brain in me, whenever I get a new project brief/idea, my first instinct is to ask "what kind of concept/style would serve this project best" & I immediately adapt my art to fit that

I really like experimenting with different rendering methods/finishes and this often makes my work look,, not very cohesive. I was worried it would make my art style difficult to recognize and had a whole meltdown over it. This was a few months ago, as of today I'm finally out of the woods (hurray!)
