I was just w two of the fiercest women I know, Maria Martha Chavez, a champion of higher ed access & Cathy Sandoval, the first Latina Rhodes scholar. Cathy, already a Professor at Santa Clara Law School, shared I inspired her to pursue her PhD. Sometimes you just don’t know how you impact others 🥺

Thank you #ASA2024, for the (re)connections, and the intellectual nourishment. The Central American love and support was amazing. I’m left inspired by all the ingenuity. So much so that we even got some futurities projects in the works. More to come!
