In Nov. '23, I booked a "core background" role on #ZeroDay. I wasn't SAG yet & thought: my big break! Turned out a learning experience, instead. I was miscast as a cyber tech experts & spent a few days dressed like I was wearing my husband's clothes with glam hair & makeup. (1/2)

#TheNightAgent S2 dropped this week. Great cast & crew. Grateful got to work, but this was a first: being cast to stage an insta photo in an NYC ER (I have some experience there) that sets off the heroine’s journey. #netflix

Last week on #LawandOrder I pulled double duty. My line got cut but got to work at 1 of the unused #nycsubway stations. Thanks to casting for getting me there. More of this in 2025, please. #castme

I pray. A lot for an atheist. bet school & family I was surrounded by Muslims, Episcopalians, Roman Catholics & Russian Orthodox folks. Used to hate the roteness but as I learned to meditate they were similar means to find some peace & emotional remove much needed in the next 1160 days.

I know #DavidLynch disavowed his #Dune (which I thought was cowardly) it was casting Sir #PatrickStewart as #GurneyHalleck that began a lifelong love of #Shakespeare, #StarTrek & #SciFi. And I maintain letting #Sting do this thing is something for which we should all be forever grateful.

As a younger actor/ person, I spent most waking hours in “stress response” & missed a lot while trying to survive. I thought #OurTown was hokum. Now a mom & I saw it today & such a beautiful testament to us. “You’ve got to love life to have life, and you’ve got to have life to love life.”

💙 the US but also 💙 what’s outside our borders. This trip was especially tonic bec every person I spoke w/couldn’t believe 1/2 of who bothered 2 vote wanted tanning bed thief & his band of wastrel. Brief chat with Virginia & Vanessa, lightened my heart & reminded me my place amongst the radicals.
